About My Clients
My clients are often thoughtful, overwhelmed adults (young and old) who feel stuck. Whether from grief, anxiety, big life changes, or long-held patterns. Some are carrying things from the past they haven’t fully processed. Others feel like they’ve outgrown how they’ve been coping and want something steadier, more honest, and more connected. Many are navigating life stages or identity. You don’t need to be in crisis to begin, just ready to reflect and move toward something different.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with nearly 15 years of experience across hospitals, clinics, long-term care, and private practice. My work is grounded in approaches that look at how your early relationships shaped the way you see yourself and others, how you make meaning out of life, and how you’ve learned to manage pain or stay safe over time. I also draw from mindfulness and trauma-informed care, which means I pay attention to how your body responds to stress and work at a pace that feels safe and respectful.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves to be seen, and no one is above or beneath anyone else. We all need help sometimes. We all need love. Therapy should offer safety—real boundaries, steady presence, and a space where you can be yourself. I value patience. Things take time, and therapy should make room for that. I believe in emotional honesty, not forced change. It’s okay not to have all the answers. What matters is the chance to look inward, to slow down, and to begin understanding what’s been carried and what might come next.
