About My Clients
My clients often have a significant history of being misunderstood and mistreated. They have have difficulty regulating their emotions and trusting others. My clients may have a few friends, but are often alone and isolated. They've tried talking to their family and friends, but they just don't seem to understand. They often call me when something happens where they've realized something needs to change.
My Background and Approach
I help people change the question they ask themselves from "Whats wrong with me?" to "What's happened to me?" Finding a good therapist with availability can take forever playing phone-tag. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Flatten the hierarchy! I'm a proud Feminist and a LGBTQ advocate. I believe in providing antiracist policies and helping those who are oppressed on a public policy level and not just the individual level. I've volunteered at a suicide hotline, domestic violence shelter, the VA hospital in Indianapolis, and Habitat for Humanity.
