About My Clients
I work with adults and teens with anxiety, panic, intrusive thoughts, health anxiety, trauma, and burnout - especially people who look “fine” but feel overwhelmed inside. Many are NYS employees, teachers, and county workers under nonstop pressure. Therapy is collaborative and practical: we’ll calm the nervous system, reduce overthinking, and help you feel like yourself again. Virtual across NY. Request an intake here; I’ll reply within 1 business day about scheduling and fees/insurance.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical: we’ll identify what’s fueling anxiety, panic, intrusive thoughts, health fears, or trauma responses, then build skills you can use between sessions. I integrate evidence-based tools (CBT, ACT, mindfulness/grounding, exposure-informed strategies when appropriate) with deeper work around patterns, attachment, and self-compassion—so change is both measurable and meaningful. Sessions are structured but human: we set clear goals, track progress, and move at a pace that feels safe. I offer virtual therapy and flexible scheduling to support busy professionals, students, and caregivers.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, respected, and never judged. My role isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to help you understand what your mind and body are doing, reduce shame, and build confidence in new responses. I value cultural humility, consent and collaboration, and I’m affirming of people from all backgrounds, identities, and family structures. I also believe healing is practical: small, consistent steps add up to real change.
