About My Clients
Dr. Kline provides individual therapy for a range of presentations, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, gender/sexuality, identity development, relationship and interpersonal issues, ADHD, life transitions, and stress. He works with adults, with a special interest in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, young adults transitioning to college and into the workforce, and those with ADHD.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Joshua Kline helps develop insight and depth into why one’s struggles may be happening. His therapeutic style can be described as compassionate, direct, solution-oriented, and mind-body-focused. Together, he and his clients create a personalized and flexible plan to build a more authentic and fulfilling life that aligns with their identity and values. Previously, Dr. Kline completed his APA-approved internship at Springfield Hospital Center. He earned both his master’s degree and doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, DC campus. His doctoral thesis focused on the experiences of young adults with ADHD, self-esteem, and job satisfaction. He currently works under the supervision of a licensed Clinical Psychologist as he works toward licensure.
