I’m Josh, a licensed independent social worker and chemical dependency counselor with over 19 years of experience helping people navigate the challenges of addiction, personality disorders, and complex emotional struggles. I specialize in evidence-based approaches like Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, and DBT to help clients understand their patterns, heal deeply rooted pain, and reclaim their lives. I know reaching out can feel intimidating, but my goal is to make this process as comfortable as possible. I’m down-to-earth, compassionate, and authentic. You won’t find any gimmicks or one-size-fits-all approaches here—just honest, tailored support to help you overcome the challenges you’re facing.

I take an eclectic approach to therapy, relying on Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and CBT among others—not because they’re trendy, but because they work. My goal is to help you make sense of what you are going through, come up with ways to manage your symptoms, break cycles that might seem unbreakable, and move you from surviving to thriving. I’ve been on the other side of the desk, so I know how important it is to be genuine with you. I’m not a sensitive ponytail guy who’s going to prescribe hug therapy, nor am I a hardheaded drill sergeant. I’m down-to-earth, straightforward, and real. No fluff, no judgment—just honest, supportive work to help you get where you want to go.
