About My Clients
I have experience working with individuals, couples, families, and diverse populations including children, veterans, parolees, felony offenders, and those facing socio-economic challenges and have provided treatment in various settings. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients struggling with a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, burnout, substance use and process addictions, as well as severe and persistent mental illness.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is eclectic and person-centered, grounded in the belief that each client is the expert in their own life. I focus on recognizing and amplifying their strengths, while supporting them in tapping into their inherent ability to create meaningful and lasting change. I frequently draw from therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches help me tailor treatment to each individual’s needs, with the goal of achieving their personal and therapeutic objectives.
