About My Clients
You may be feeling weighed down by depression, trauma, mood changes, ADHD, or relationship stress. I work with adolescents ages 12 and older, adults, couples, and Veterans, including clients navigating PTSD, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. Whether you want practical coping skills, a clearer understanding of your experiences, or a stronger connection with your partner, we can identify goals that matter to you and work toward them together.
My Background and Approach
I'm Josh Montoya, MA, LPCC, a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and Air Force Veteran. I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado in 2024 and founded Catalyst Behavioral Interventions in Greeley. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs. I draw on CBT, DBT skills, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and existential therapy. For couples, I use emotionally focused therapy (EFT) to explore connection, communication, and recurring conflict patterns. Couples services are therapy only. Individual diagnostic assessments, including ADHD assessments, use clinical interviews to guide a personalized behavioral treatment plan. Family therapy and life coaching are also available. I offer in-person sessions in Greeley and telehealth throughout Colorado. Services are self-pay/out-of-network; reimbursement depends on your plan. Contact me for a free 30-minute consultation.
