About My Clients
Being human is both blessing and burden. We are resilient yet also profoundly sensitive. What happens to us, changes us. Pain, sadness, fear, and loss are normal and natural parts of life — but they can make us feel profoundly alone. If you've ever felt like no one could possibly understand what you're carrying, I want you to know: that feeling makes sense, and you are not alone. It takes courage to ask for help and it is an honor to sit with the courageous.
My Background and Approach
With a philosophy degree from U.C. Berkeley and a master's degree in clinical psychology with a trauma specialization from Antioch L.A., I am an integrative therapist grounded in an evidence-based, trauma-informed, philosophically oriented Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) framework. My approach weaves together somatic awareness, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, and indigenous shamanic practices — always guided by a genuine awe for what it means to live a life. We will look not just at your experiences, but at what you've learned from them: the beliefs, stories, and patterns formed in response. We'll do that work with both a playful curiosity and deep compassionate care for you, your story, and your values.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should include safety, agency, compassion, peace, laughter, and relief, as well as honesty, challenge, effort, discomfort, and even grief. I am playful yet direct. I speak with a soft kindness about hard truths. Our work will be collaborative, adaptive, creative, and always centered on what matters most to you — your healing, your self-discovery, and your path. My job is to create a safe, compassionate, courageous, and honest space for you to use for your path to heal, learn, and wonder. If you are seeking support of any kind, I would be honored to work and wonder with you.
