About My Clients
Though I support people with many backgrounds, situations, and histories, my passion has always been working with fellow members of the Latine community. I support adults, both individually or as a couple, who are looking for help in dealing with anger management, depression, parenting, self-image, relationship problems, acclimation after immigration, stress management, and more. I also provider supervision services to LISW candidates in SC.
My Background and Approach
I obtained my Master's degree from Fordham University in New York, and am now an LISW-CP. I have been working in the mental health space for over 20 years, including experience with non-profits, schools, and private practice. I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to support my clients as they build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the power of connection, and I am committed to collaborating with others in my community to build a more just and joyful future. I actively support and celebrate immigrants as well as people who identify as LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, AAPI, and other minorities.
