About My Clients
I specialize in working with young and adult women suffering from depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, and insecurity. In addition to these specialties, I also have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with religious shame and related emotional concerns. I strive to foster an authentic environment where my clients can be their authentic selves, feel heard, understood, empowered, and celebrated.
My Background and Approach
Has self-blame made it challenging to forgive yourself or allow yourself grace? Or has a difficulty finding motivation left you feeling a loss of control over your environment? Perhaps a new life transition has you overwhelmed, anxious, or exhausted. Maybe fear and anxiety have held you back, making you feel stuck. If so, I am here to listen. My approach to therapy acknowledges that we often see ourselves through faulty lenses, either because they are familiar or have protected us in the past. This approach affords us the opportunity to reflect on and explore various perspectives as you take back control of your life. I strive to foster an authentic environment in which my clients feel empowered and celebrated. I want you to feel unique; I appreciate the opportunity to listen and partner with you in your decision to share your story and choose yourself. I look forward to joining you and celebrating this therapy journey together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe asking for help is one of the bravest things a person can do; I also acknowledge it can be one of the hardest things to do. I have struggled in my own life to seek out support when I needed it most, so I want to celebrate the giant step you have taken to seek out therapy and gain back control over your life. You are not alone on this journey. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement.
