About My Clients
I am passionate about serving individuals and couples of all gender and sexual identities through affirming and genuine therapeutic relationships. In individual and relationship counseling, I work with clients who want to understand and love themselves better. I ask that clients show up ready to talk and willing to be curious about their patterns and relationships. From there, we build a relationship where you can be honest about what life is like for you and how you want to live.
My Background and Approach
I see therapy as a series of conversations. I ask that clients come ready to talk with honesty and curiosity, and we’ll go together from there. Through genuine and trust-centered relationships, we create room for self-acceptance and our lives can improve. In therapy, I work with clients to create a therapeutic relationship where you can examine your experiences without fear of judgment or shame. Where there are possibilities for new behavior, we can try things out and remain curious about the impact you can have in your own life. I would be honored to work with you toward increasing awareness and insight into the past and present. Through a positive therapeutic relationship, my hope is that you will come to better understand yourself and can begin to take an active role in your own life. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people change when we feel safe enough to gain new perspectives on our experiences. I am continuously learning about trauma and the way it impacts the body, shapes the stories we tell, and touches future generations. I am committed to anti-racism and anti-oppression. I believe there is great therapeutic and societal value in confronting privilege and oppression where they exist. I am in the LGBTQIA+ community and believe all people deserve to love and be loved.
