About My Clients
Clients come to my virtual practice for a variety of mental health concerns and difficulties, typically including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, adjustments to life changes, grief/loss, and various addictions. I help clients (1) explore their situation in a non-judgmental and comfortable space, (2) gain insight into factors that contribute to both their positive and negative life experiences, and (3) identify and execute changes they see fit to improve their quality of life.
My Background and Approach
I believe that people are capable of change, which is why I do what I do. It's understandable if you come to therapy feeling low and even unmotivated. This is normal. Your first step in seeking therapy is a big deal and not an easy decision, and I applaud your willingness to try. I also believe in a collaborative approach and meeting you where you are in your life. I would like to hear your story and help you figure out what needs to change in order to guide you through the process of improving your mental health. I use a combination of CBT, mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and ACT approaches, with a person-centered philosophy. I want to help you become your own therapist.
