About My Clients
I have a diverse background in mental health, as I have worked with individuals of all ages and levels of illness severity. I find that I gravitate toward issues of communication, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. I build rapport quickly, as I am direct yet compassionate. Individuals that are truly motivated for change and receptive to a challenge are a good fit for my therapeutic style.
My Background and Approach
Flexibility and adaptability are the keys to progress. I would characterize my therapeutic style as eclectic; incorporating CBT, mindfulness, and existential concepts such as need fulfillment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The essential element of any relationship is trust. I believe positive outcomes result from building an authentic connection between the therapist and the client . Compassion and trust are the most influential components for addressing life's challenges in therapy.
