About My Clients
I have experience working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. I work best with clients who are open to feedback, willing to engage in the therapeutic process, and motivated to take active steps toward meaningful change. I understand that everyone faces unique challenges, and that growth takes time, effort, and collaboration. I strive to create a supportive environment where we can work together toward a shared goal.
My Background and Approach
I am a collaborative and client-centered clinician who prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships to help clients develop strategic, individualized plans for change. I bring empathy, warmth, and understanding into each session, meeting clients where they are while honoring their unique backgrounds and lived experiences. I work alongside clients to identify meaningful goals and determine thoughtful, evidence-based strategies to support their needs. I emphasize empowerment, helping clients recognize their strengths and potential while fostering a sense of agency and control during times that may feel overwhelming or uncertain. Through a team-based approach, I encourage the use of evidence-based practices to promote growth, resilience, and lasting change. Specific approaches I use include cognitive-behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. I will soon be EMDR trained as well.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
believe that everyone possesses the potential to succeed, whether in parenting, career, relationships, or discovering a sense of purpose. In today’s fast-paced, high-stress, and increasingly individualistic world, it is easy for people to become overwhelmed—especially without adequate support or effective coping skills. Many individuals face significant challenges early in life and may not have had the opportunity to explore alternative ways of living or relating to themselves and others. These experiences can shape patterns that feel difficult to change. I believe that with hard work, dedication, and the right support, individuals can take meaningful steps toward change. Human potential is vast, and through awareness, effort, and evidence-based strategies, people can create more fulfilling and intentional lives. You are not alone in your experiences. Your feelings are valid, and together we can process those emotions while also exploring different perspectives.
