About My Clients

The desire to heal and evolve beyond life's challenges can feel daunting. While we may have the sense that diving into, and untangling, our past trauma will create a happier life...it doesn't mean that it will be easy. Rest assured that, during our time together, you won't be taking the plunge alone! My clients' experiences, fears, strengths, weaknesses, hopes and dreams are held safely and sacredly during our time together: a time and space to heal that truly belongs to you.

My Background and Approach

As a therapy client for close to a decade, I was lucky enough to have a therapist who was trauma-focused and trained in multiple "Depth" modalities. I have felt such life-changing benefits because I had a therapist who never stopped learning about their craft, and about themselves. I am recreating that approach by focusing my training on similar "Depth Work" therapy modalities that get to the core of the human experience: Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, Brain Spotting, and Internal Family Systems. These methods are able to get deep into the subconscious and unearth our internal "coding," which is encoded by our family in our early lives (Attachment) and then further molded by Trauma(s) that we all experience as we navigate our lives in the wake of how we were taught to relate to the world and others. While I am early in my career and working towards these certifications, I can speak to them all - bringing a holistic, integrative approach that's anchored in Attachment and Trauma.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm deeply passionate about how our parents/caretakers shape the vast majority of who we become in our future. How parents choose to interact with their children in just the first few years of life literally shapes our communities, societies, and humanity as a whole. This is why I'm so focused on Attachment dynamics and the emotional/relational/behavioral cycles that become instilled in us. I see young children as a powerless, marginalized group whose brains are wired to be at the mercy of how their caretakers interact/don't interact with them. So much of society's Trauma is sourced in parents who didn't, or couldn't, provide healthy Attachment dynamics to their children. That's where I hope to come in and help heal those Attachment Injuries that are likely the source of trauma. Attachment dynamics are a truly unifying force amongst all humans - no human escapes the effects of their relationship (or lack thereof) with their early caretakers. To help you heal is where I come in.
