About My Clients
I have worked at every level of intervention in mental health. From ongoing, maintenance counseling online to helping people struggling with life and death in the community and in the hospital settings. I use person-centered counseling, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic counseling modalities. Sometimes, I use them individually but mostly I use a balance of all three modalities. My goal is to provide a clear path forward. Our first session is where we'll establish your goals for counseling. We'll explore what you're hoping to achieve and determine the best approach. We can focus on building tangible skills—tools and strategies that help you better manage your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We can also dedicate our time to deeper conversations, exploring the issues that are most important to you. Ultimately, we'll design a personalized plan that combines these two approaches to help you make real progress!
