About My Clients
Many of the people I work with are trying to make sense of painful patterns—in their relationships, their families, or their sense of self. You may be navigating big changes or carrying wounds that are hard to name. Some come alone, some with a partner. Some want to stay together; some aren’t sure. I work with people of all genders and backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ folks, immigrants, and those in nontraditional relationships.
My Background and Approach
My main training is in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based approach that helps people shift stuck patterns and build more secure, compassionate relationships—with partners and with themselves. I also use Feedback-Informed Treatment (FIT), which means I regularly check in with you about how therapy is going and whether it feels useful. If something’s not working, we talk about it and adjust. Having lived in three countries before adulthood, I’ve struggled with my own identity and values. It was often in relationships across cultures, beliefs, and ways of living that I found resolution. If you are ready to begin this work, I would be honored to support you. You do not have to do this alone.
