My approach is tailored towards you. During our initial session we gather some general information to get an overall view of you and what brings you to therapy and discuss your goals and how I can help you. This may include some initial action items. During subsequent sessions we will identify and take steps towards accomplishing our goals while developing and implementing strategies and taking note of our progress to further build on it. We identify areas to further improve while identifying possible barriers for further growth. My personal goal is to see you walk away knowing you are at a place you want to be at while having the confidence in being able to live the life you want to live. I am a bilingual Latino provider raised in San Francisco that brings over 16 years of professional experience. While working as a generalist I eventually started to develop my clinical passions in doing sex therapy, working with relationships and general life stress and transitions.

I believe two of the biggest areas of our lives include relationships and things that bring us joy. When those areas are lacking or struggling it makes a joyful life difficult to live. I believe each individual has the right to chose the way to live their life. As such I am a big advocate of working with what your life consists of and using a strengths-based approach to get you to where you want to be. I believe mental health can be managed and with you as your expert and me as an experienced provider we can get your mental health to a very good point. Relationships involve two or more people but I believe in focusing on what one has control over and emphasizing those area to improve the quality of your relationships. This certainly includes the areas of sex and intimacy. When one learns what control truly means and how to utilize that tool in their lives they can, in turn, live a true life they want to live.
