About My Clients

I work with adults, teens, college students, and couples who may be struggling with anxiety, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, attachment wounds, life transitions, burnout, or self-esteem concerns. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, disconnected, or unsure where to begin. My goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative space where clients can better understand themselves, build healthier patterns, and move toward healing and growth.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and college students across a variety of clinical and educational settings. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices that focus on both emotional insight and practical change. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based approaches, trauma-informed care, mindfulness strategies, and EMDR-informed techniques to help clients better understand patterns, regulate emotions, and process difficult experiences. I also draw from my background as a psychology professor and educator, which allows me to explain concepts in a relatable and approachable way. I believe therapy should feel supportive, nonjudgmental, and empowering. Whether a client is navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, trauma, stress, identity concerns, or major life transitions, I work to create a space where they feel heard, respected, and understood.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe mental health care should be compassionate, accessible, culturally aware, and grounded in authenticity. I value curiosity, emotional growth, education, and creating spaces where people feel safe being themselves without fear of judgment. Outside of therapy, I am passionate about psychology education, mentoring students, community mental health awareness, and reducing stigma surrounding therapy. I also enjoy research, teaching, professional development, and continuing to learn about trauma, attachment, mindfulness, and human behavior. My work is guided by empathy, respect, and the belief that healing and personal growth are possible at any stage of life.
