About My Clients
I have experience working with those struggling with symptoms of trauma, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, parenting, communication, and low self-esteem. My practice is inclusive, non-judgmental, culturally responsive, and affirming of LGBTQ+ communities. I offer services in English and Spanish.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; I earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. My style of therapy focuses on seeing the person as a whole and paying attention to different areas of life. My approach to therapy emphasizes psychodynamic, existential, and systems techniques; however, I customize the therapeutic process to meet your individual goals. I take on a balanced role to create space to explore life issues, foster self-discovery, and apply new skills in a meaningful way. In therapy, our conversation may focus on attachment patterns, interactions with others, past experiences, and thinking and behavioral patterns, which can help to make more intentional choices in the present.
