About My Clients
I love working with teens, young adults, and families! Whether that be through skill-building, parent coaching, and or just creating a non-judgemental welcoming environment where you can unload and process in a safe space. Some of the areas I specialize in are trauma, stress, anxiety, and depression. Working with clients who are committed and engaged will create a productive and successful outcome.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 8 years of experience working in the field of social work with various settings and clients. However, my passion is with adolescents, young adults, and families. I am certified in DBT, Animal-Assisted Therapy, and a School Social Worker and EMDR trained. I LOVE helping others process their thoughts, take on different perspectives, and truly find self-love and growth. Whether you are navigating trauma, experiencing emotion dysregulation, anxiety, depression and or relational challenges, my goal is to meet you where you are at and provide you with tools that can help you currently, as well as, equip you for future challenges too. I utilize a strength-based approach which allows me to help you foster resiliency while also challenging you to grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a space and opportunity to truly be themselves with no reservations. I believe no one exists as a single entity and need support and a support system to reach their most optimal potential. I do not stand for people fitting into boxes nor is there any room in my practice for judgment or intolerance. I pride myself on treating every human with dignity and will ask questions to help me educate and learn. I believe in celebrating differences rather than tolerating or accepting them.
