About My Clients

I have worked with youth, teenagers, and adults, including people who have survived severe experiences of trauma, and I am deeply committed to upholding an anti-racist and queer-affirming environment for all clients.

My Background and Approach

I have a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Vassar College, which allowed me to explore the mind-body connection and understand the multifaceted ways in which we respond to stress and trauma. I also have a master’s degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, where I studied Community Organizing and cultivated a critical understanding of oppressive political and social structures that I bring to my work with individuals. I specialize in using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy concepts to help people build self-esteem and manage relationships, and I also use supportive therapy techniques to facilitate growth and understanding of self and others.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a practitioner, I believe that understanding someone’s overarching context and history is paramount, and I aim to facilitate continuous learning through my therapeutic work. I am passionate about helping people find joy and purpose in life and understand themselves and their relationships. I co-create an honest and accepting environment through which to explore the lifelong benefits that therapy can bring.
