About My Clients
Overall, I have experience working with individuals and families facing a wide range of relational, systemic, and mental health challenges. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or the effects of trauma, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll work toward greater clarity, resilience, and connection.
My Background and Approach
I view the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for change, where authenticity, empathy, and trust can support deep healing. Additionally, I incorporate trauma-informed practices and am grounded within a systems perspective. This means I consider how your experiences are shaped not only by your personal history, but also by your relationships, culture, community, and the larger systems around you. I aim to hold space for complexity, recognizing the impact of trauma, oppression, and intergenerational patterns all while supporting you in identifying your strengths and navigating the challenges you may be facing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, or catching up on all my favorite shows. Being from Southern California, I love to soak up all the sunlight we get here in the PNW during the warmer months by getting out on the water and paddle boarding! I acknowledge how my own intersecting identities, as well as those of my clients, play a role within the therapeutic relationship. As a cisgender white woman, I recognize the privilege I carry, and strive to create a space that is affirming for those who hold differing racial, cultural, sexual, or gender identities than my own and are oppressed or marginalized by society. I am passionate in advocating and providing care to individuals from all backgrounds from a culturally-humble lens.
