About My Clients

I work with children, teens, and adults navigating OCD, anxiety, ADHD, autism, chronic illness, disability, life transitions, and vocational stress. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from trying to manage it all alone. I also support parents who want to better understand and help their child. Together, we focus on building practical tools, emotional insight, and confidence so life feels more manageable and connected.

My Background and Approach

My background in Rehabilitation Counseling shapes the way I approach therapy—I work from a strengths-based lens that honors identity, ability, and resilience while helping clients build practical, sustainable skills for daily life. I believe therapy should feel both safe and useful: a place where you can be fully yourself while also learning tools that make life easier outside the therapy room. I work collaboratively with children, teens, and adults, tailoring treatment to each person’s needs and goals. I use CBT, ERP, DBT, and play therapy, and I often integrate creativity, art, movement, and sensory-based strategies when helpful. Growth doesn’t only happen sitting on a couch. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and relational. I value humor, honesty, and helping clients feel genuinely understood while also being challenged in ways that support lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in real life. People are not problems to be fixed; they are complex, adaptive, and doing the best they can with what they have. My role is to help you understand your patterns, reduce suffering where possible, and build tools that make day-to-day life more manageable and meaningful. I also believe that discomfort is not always a sign that something is wrong—it can be part of growth, healing, and change. At the same time, no one should have to white-knuckle their way through life alone. Support, structure, and skills matter. I value neurodiversity, accessibility, and honoring each client’s lived experience. Whether we are working on anxiety, OCD, ADHD, autism, chronic illness, or life transitions, I aim to create a space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to make changes that actually fit their lives.
