About My Clients
Do anxiety, worry, or self-criticism make it difficult to feel present and engaged in your life? Do you feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, reassurance seeking, avoidance, or time-consuming compulsions? If so, you are not alone! I work with adults, children, and teens experiencing a variety of concerns, including generalized anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic attacks, social anxiety, health anxiety, phobias, and more.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to help clients respond more flexibly to difficult thoughts and feelings so they can build a life guided by what matters most to them. With your values in mind, we will explore how to navigate worry, uncertainty, and stress with greater self-assurance and self-compassion. My approach is grounded in highly effective treatments such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have a warm and compassionate personality, as well as a strong sense of humor that will help us connect along the way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I care deeply about human rights, diversity, nature, and compassion so these values show up in my work with clients. Together, we may explore how societal factors drive many of the mental health issues of today, how to connect with nature in a way that enhances mindfulness and activates awe, and how to maximize compassion in our relationships and self-talk.
