About My Clients
Many of my clients are teen boys, men, or couples navigating life changes, anger, trauma, or adoption-related challenges. I bring a laid-back, culturally informed, and down-to-earth approach that helps first-time therapy clients feel at ease. Whether in person or virtual, therapy with me feels like a real conversation — not a lecture.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Gwinnett College and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I’m currently completing the final steps toward becoming an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) in Georgia. I’ve supported teens, men, and couples through challenges like trauma, anger, and adoption-related concerns. My goal is to make therapy feel approachable and meaningful — not intimidating. Clients appreciate my laid-back, culturally aware approach and the space I create for real, judgment-free conversations.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Black man, husband, and father, I’m passionate about creating space for other men — especially Black men and young boys — to explore their emotions without shame. I grew up in a family where communication wasn’t always modeled well, and I’ve seen firsthand how learning to express myself has shaped my growth in marriage, fatherhood, and healing. I believe in breaking generational cycles and helping others do the same through honest conversation, vulnerability, and support. My work is rooted in advocacy for men’s mental health and the belief that healing is strength, not weakness.
