My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado and have experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds in individual, family, and group therapy settings to address issues such as: depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, panic, trauma, relationship or family issues, life transitions, and complex grief. I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques in my practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which provides direct coping skills to manage negative, anxiety-producing thoughts, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which teaches skills to reduce panic, improve relationships, and get more out of life. We will start by creating collaborative treatment goals that address your needs. Following that, I will teach you skills and interventions to help you immediately reduce the impact of your symptoms in your daily life.

I believe that YOU are the expert of your own healing; as your therapist, my job is to collaborate with you to help you align with your values, purpose, and life goals. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you feel free to express your authentic self without fear of judgment. Having struggled with my own mental health in the past, I know how healing a positive therapeutic relationship can be. My goal is to always make you feel heard, respected, and valued as a client in the therapeutic space.
