If you are struggling to cultivate the energy you need to get through the day, a regular yoga and art therapy practice may help. Coming into the present moment by way of controlled movement and focusing on the breath helps to strengthen the physical-mental-emotional connection. In the same way, art therapy provides an avenue for communication about things that may be difficult to describe in words. We will work together to form a plan that fits your unique needs.

The heart is beating rapidly, blood pressure is rising, palms are sweaty, thoughts are racing... how do you take charge in a moment that your body seems to be out of control? We will work together practicing various coping skills within creativity, movement, and mindfulness so that you feel more in control of you.

I am specifically trained in vinyasa and mainly do work in the restorative area of yoga. When Covid hit, I suddenly found myself at home with two young, rambunctious kids and a house that felt like it was caving in on me. Yoga became a daily healing tool for me and I found myself wanting to help others find the same peace I did. I have been practicing yoga since 2016 and became a registered yoga teacher in 2020. Yoga is not about jamming the body into poses, its about loving the body as it is.

Feeling skeptical of art therapy or maybe that you aren't artistic? I am a master's level art therapist and have been practicing since 2018 in a mental health facility. My experience tells me that art therapy may not be everyone, but if you enjoy metaphor, want to gain insight and self awareness, and are interested cultivating your creative intelligence, art therapy might just be what you are looking for. No skill, talent, or previous training required. All that's needed is you, just as you are.

I empower underwhelmed busy mamas to reconnect with themselves so that they no longer feel guilty about it. Women often find themselves in a new wonder-filled relationship with their children and partner, forgetting that they, too, need nourishment and care. We will move together through an established self-care plan, from basic needs to psychological needs to self-fulfillment needs. You will find joy, excitement, and purpose beyond the needs of your family.
