About My Clients
Do you find yourself caught in a cycle of negative interactions with your partner or in your closest relationships or even with yourself? In those moments of distress, do you find yourself flooded with overwhelming emotions? Or maybe you have gotten really good at shutting down what’s going on inside of you, but it isn’t working for you anymore or you see how that’s creating more distance and distress in your relationships? If you resonate with any of that, you’ve come to the right place!
My Background and Approach
A little bit about me: I received my Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) from Covenant Theological Seminary, and I primarily utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy in my practice. As an Emotionally Focused therapist (EFT), I believe that we were created for relationships, and that it is within our most important relationships we come to make sense of the world and who we are in it. In my work with couples, families, and individuals, we work to make sense of how you have gotten to where you are and find clarity around where you want to go and what is getting in the way. By tuning into the wisdom of your emotions, we will enact new ways of being with your partner and yourself to create greater flexibility, resilience, growth, and security within your relationships.
