About My Clients
Your mental and emotional pain is as real and valid as physical pain or injury. Maybe past trauma plays in your mind on repeat, making your feel permanently broken. Maybe you struggle with self-criticism or internal conflicts. Perhaps you struggle to build or maintain relationships and feel trapped in loneliness or isolation. When you are hit by the pain of your past or present challenges, you may feel helpless—unable to handle your emotional suffering in ways that are healthy and effective.
My Background and Approach
I help people who face emotional pain, such as past trauma, find healing, peace, and self-acceptance. I aid people in understanding why they react as they do, give them tools to cope effectively, and show them new ways of responding. I help people increase their understand of themselves, feel more connected to themselves, and work through their internal conflicts. I help people learn healthy ways to connect with others and communicate their needs. I have earned my 72-hour certificate in Complex Trauma and Dissociation from the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation's Center for Advanced Studies in Trauma and Dissociation. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When my clients meet with me, I want them to feel heard, validated, and not judged. I recognize that clients bring numerous strengths with them into our work, and I feel honored to get to partner with them in their growth. I am allied with LGBTQ community.
