About My Clients
Life can be so hard. Sometimes we think, “I’ve tried everything and nothing seems to change,” or, “Is something wrong with me for feeling this way?” We may feel unable to connect with our most important people about what is really going on. We may feel unable to connect with ourselves. Sometimes we just get stuck. I get it—I’ve been there, too. I also know that with the right support, you don’t have to go through this alone, and you don’t have to feel this way forever.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in adult psychotherapy, healing from sexualized violence, and issues of Millennial and Gen Z adulting, including dating/romance, career growth, painful family dynamics, and life balance. I also provide 2SLGBTQIA+ and gender-affirming therapy for transgender and gender-diverse youth and adults, supporting your goals for relationships, personal growth, gender expression, and self-love. My therapeutic approach is anti-oppressive, validating, and collaborative. I received my master’s degree in clinical social work from the school of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago and currently hold my license in the state of Arizona as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My training and practice modalities include gender-affirming therapy, psychodynamic and attachment-focused work, DBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, ACT, sand play therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that no matter where you’re starting from, it is never too early or too late to heal, change, and grow. By working together, you will be able to gain perspective on what brings you to this moment in your life, heal from past hurts, and discover the path forward that works best for you.
