About My Clients
I work with clients with a wide variety of difficulties—anxiety, depression, loneliness, trauma, or even just a sense that something important in life is missing. If you want to understand yourself on a deeper level and feel better, call me or message me.
My Background and Approach
I practice psychodynamic therapy, focusing on understanding the complex ways your struggles are intertwined with your relationships, culture, and lifestyle, both past and present. In working together, we will examine patterns that have arisen in your life to identify new ways of relating to yourself and others. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space so you can become comfortable sharing your whole self, and in doing so, come to understand your emotional experience more fully. This work is focused on bringing about sustainable change rather than quick fixes. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, including the crisis hotline, community crisis outreach, hospitals, and outpatient therapy clinics. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of including substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal ideation, relationship struggles, gender and sexual identity issues, faith crisis, and difficult life transitions.
