About My Clients
We are not here on this Earth to live life day to day, to go through the daily grind of life just getting by. Life is not about surviving, it is about thriving. Just surviving can leave us floating through life aimlessly, while life just blows past us. This can bring about depression, anxiety, addictions, and a missing sense of purpose in life. Finding who we are and our purpose can transform us into living a life with meaning.
My Background and Approach
Jonathan considers it an honor to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges and seek restoration. His counseling approach is relational, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that change is possible for everyone. He works with adolescents and adults who are experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, high stress, relational difficulties, spiritual concerns, or major life transitions. When desired, Jonathan thoughtfully integrates Christian faith into the counseling process. Jonathan is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)—an evidence-based method for addressing trauma and distressing experiences. He views EMDR as a powerful tool that complements the deeper work of meaning-making, allowing clients to move beyond painful memories and begin living more freely in the present.
