There are always valid reasons why our nervous systems protect us with dissociative experiences. But that doesn’t make them any less disruptive and painful. Together, we could befriend and study your unique nervous system and inner world, so that we learn what you most need to feel safer. Because when your nervous system and inner world feel safer, you’ll have less intense and fewer disruptive dissociative experiences.

Trauma-informed therapy is a must if you actually want to heal and transform deeper roots of your trauma. I’ve devoted 12+ years of experience and trainings to specializing in trauma. Together, we can engage your inner healing intelligence to promote deeper healing and transformation, through practice. You’ll get to do this sacred work in a therapy space that avoids replicating our dominant colonial cultures’ harmful beliefs (the roots of many traumatic injuries and intergenerational traumas).

With this potent approach, my clients could fully understand their recurring, difficult inner conflicts, and move forward with more ease and alignment. IFS has equipped my clients with tools to use their minds and hearts to bring healing and resolution to longstanding traumas and emotional wounds. IFS has helped my clients feel significantly less afraid to face certain aspects of themselves. I’ve also seen my clients form their own roadmaps towards lasting healing and change.

Somatic and mindfulness-based approaches help people build a more fine-tuned and conscious relationship with their mind-body connection. These methods can help with: 1) Staying more grounded and embodied in the present moment, 2) Building a toolbox for being with difficult inner experiences in the present moment, 3) Listening and responding to internal cues / information from the mind-body connection, 4) Moving and digesting remnants of trauma and stress lodged in the mind-body connection.

IFS is a somatic and mindfulness-based way of working through internal conflicts, emotional distress, compulsive / addictive tendencies, dissociative experiences, trauma-related challenges, relationship challenges, and much more. IFS helps people make what is less visible more visible – in therapy and in their everyday lives outside of therapy. It promotes more sense of choice, clarity, alignment, and mental flexibility. And it provides actionable steps and maps towards lasting healing.

Brainspotting is a powerful and impactful way to process remnants of trauma lodged deeper in our psyches. It utilizes the brain’s innate healing intelligence to “digest” traumatic material that might be harder to access in our everyday states of consciousness -- especially material that might reinforce stuckness in default / reflexive tendencies and habits.
