You are someone between the ages of 21 and 80 who is looking for an approach that looks at what happened to you, and how you adjusted, NOT what is wrong with you. You're conventionally successful but aware that you don't understand your own uniqueness, including both your own humanity and your own spirituality. You're looking for someone farther down the path, that can help you into whole-brain healing and awakening, working with psychology/ego/left brain AND spirituality/intuition/right brain
My Background and Approach
I've trained as a licensed massage therapist, energy healer, psychologist and Yoga teacher. I bring 34 years of experience working as a healer, 26 as a counselor, 14 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, and 24 years as a spiritual guide. To use all of this background for you, I function as a mentor “a person who gives a younger or less experienced person help and advice over a period of time.” I also have a 55-year-long path in spiritual awakening, which I use to help you with the ins and outs of spiritual exploration, including understanding negative or difficult spiritual/religious experiences. My experience includes extensive work with trauma and addiction I've learned: that your thoughts are often false and false thoughts create negative and hurtful emotions. I teach you how to use thought constructively. I also will teach you how to name, and track your emotions and determine if their energy is useful or harmless. Finally, I can help you access and develop spiritually.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a spiritually awakened person who has been on a long enlightenment path. Though I thought there was an endpoint to this path, I know now there is no end to it. I have investigated many religious and spiritual ideas and practices in my life and see the essentially commonalities of them, as well as their pitfalls. My morality is based in the principle that all of creation is part of the Divine, and every human being is a manifestation of the Divine (whether they know and practice it or not); when I bless others, I bless myself; when I hurt others, I hurt myself, we are the same Consciousness. That said, I believe that humans need boundaries, and don't need to accept abuse from others; justice and fairness are for all people. As a graduate of international high school, having lived with students from 50 countries, all races and faiths, I understand the inherent equality of people in an experiential way. Having seen the best and worst of spirituality, I know how to discern!
