My goal is to empower individuals to more effectively manage their thoughts and emotions in order to enhance their enjoyment of daily life.
My Background and Approach
My therapy approach draws heavily from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My goal is to help clients develop a deeper understanding of the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and actions. I firmly believe that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach and tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs and preferences. I offer evidence-based intervention for OCD and anxiety disorders across the lifespan. I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment of OCD. My approach integrates aspects of other modalities to help clients live a life based on personal values and not one that is driven by obsessions and compulsions. When working with children, I work with the whole family to help parents achieve a balance which empowers kids to work through difficult thoughts and emotions, while maintaining a positive parent-child relationship.
