Narrative therapy is an open and creative perspective on healing and growth. 'People aren't problems, problems are problems' is a classic one-liner. I've been practicing narrative since I was first trained in it nine years ago, and I have five years experience training other clinicians in it as well.

I am experienced in providing Rumination-Focused Exposure and Response Prevention, a practical and achievable pathway to healing from OCD. I offer a specialized treatment program and rate for these services.

I provide neuro-affirming care for anyone who identifies as neurodivergent (for example, autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, or OCD neurotypes). This work may focus on personal identity, healing from harmful interventions experienced in childhood, burnout, masking, or relationships, but most importantly we will focus on whatever feels most helpful to you.

Rumination-focused Exposure and Response Prevention is a modification of traditional ERP developed by a psychologist who experiences OCD himself. I find it to be both more approachable and more nuanced, and is a great option for both newcomers and ERP veterans.

I specialize in working with problems arising due to traumatic events, complex trauma, bureaucratic and organizational harm (e.g work, foster care, legal system), and secondary trauma (for service providers). My approach prioritizes establishing a comfortable and safe therapeutic relationship. That is the starting point for conversations about actions a person has taken to resist harm and oppression, as well as about what matters most to them.

I support couples to negotiate a shared understanding of their rich and complex shared experience. Focusing on intentions and hopes, while being clear that conflict and difficulties will always be part of life, can make room for the members of a couple to navigate their problems by focusing on accountability, rather than blame.
