About My Clients
My name is Jonathan Baker, and I’m an LMFT and LPCC who can help you navigate depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, life transitions, identity questions, and the stress that comes with trying to hold everything together. I have an additional focus working with couples as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
My Background and Approach
So many of us feel unseen, stuck, misunderstood and alone in our daily lives. That’s where I come in, providing you a place where you can feel seen, heard, validated, and understood without judgement, especially when unconditional support feels hard to find. When you work with me, you don't need the perfect words or a clear plan. In our work together, you can be exactly who you are and benefit from an approach that is collaborative and non-judgmental. I’ll help you slow down, recognize the thought patterns that no longer serve you, and build new ones that support the life you want to create. Together, we’ll create new ways of relating to yourself and others that feel more aligned, empowered, and compassionate. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in creating a safe, judgment-free space for all of my clients. I specialize in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I additionally have a lot of expertise and have a passion for supporting any and all marginalized communities and helping them to feel more empowered in a society and culture that can often feel disempowering. Additionally, I am passionate about working couples and supporting them through emotionally focused therapy as well as development and implementation of positive communication skills.
