Candidate for AASECT Certification in Sex Therapy. Currently logged more than 100 hours of extensive human sexuality and sex therapy training. 2+ years of working clinically with folks experiencing sex problems, including erectile dysfunction, painful intercourse, sexual phobias and anxiety, performance anxiety, and shame surrounding kink, sexual, and gender identities.

My primary psychotherapy focus is on couples/relationships. My passion in this field is working directly with relationships to strengthen communication and intimacy. My philosophy is that relationships, whether they be sexual, non-sexual, monogamous, open, poly, friendly, or familial, are what promote the deepest mode of change. We grow through our relationships and connections with others. My couples training include completed courses in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Couples & Sex Therapy.

My extensive sex therapy training focuses on all spectrums of sexual and gender identities. I have the training, both clinical and academic, working with poly and open folks and people from a wide spectrum of sexualities and gender identities. This also includes folks who identify as kinky, vanilla, into BDSM, pleasure-focused, body-positive, etc.

I have an MA in Trauma and Crisis Studies.

Much of my clinical training and practice has viewed relationships through an attachment lens, including Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples.

I love working with individuals, but couples and relationship therapy is my passion. Most of my clients are couples, and much of my training in Social Work and Sex Therapy has revolved around my work with relationships.
