Many of the clients I work with are capable and high-functioning but feel overwhelmed internally despite managing things well on the outside. Together we focus on understanding the patterns driving anxiety while helping the nervous system regain stability. PTSD and trauma can leave your system feeling on edge, reactive, or disconnected long after an experience has passed. You may notice anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or difficulty feeling like yourself. My work focuses on helping the nervous system process these experiences using trauma-informed therapy and EMDR, so the past no longer carries the same intensity and you can move forward with greater stability and clarity.

CBT helps identify patterns of thinking and behavior that contribute to anxiety, stress, and emotional reactivity. In our work, we use it to bring awareness to these patterns and develop more effective ways of responding. It provides a structured way to understand what’s happening in the moment and make meaningful changes in how you relate to thoughts, emotions, and situations.

EMDR is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process overwhelming experiences so they no longer carry the same intensity. It allows us to work directly with how experiences are stored in the nervous system without needing to revisit every detail. EMDR is particularly effective for trauma, anxiety, and panic, helping reduce reactivity and restore a greater sense of stability and control.

Trauma therapy focuses on how overwhelming experiences continue to affect the nervous system over time. Even when events are in the past, your system may remain on edge, reactive, or disconnected. In our work, we focus on helping the nervous system regain a sense of safety while addressing the patterns that developed in response to those experiences, so they no longer drive anxiety, stress, or reactivity in the present.
