About My Clients

My ideal client is one who would benefit from learning, understanding, and overcoming their mental health issues stemming from depression, anxiety, or other disorders. I understand no one lives in a vacuum, so using what we learn to help incorporate protective factors such as family, kin, psychiatrist, or doctors is an important part of treatment and long-time life satisfaction.

My Background and Approach

I work to help build a solid foundation of support and coping skills using interventions focused on the "now," taken from solution-focused, narrative, and DBT theories. I incorporate elements of experiential and trauma-informed therapy to explore with my clients their past and how it reflects in the present. The struggle of mental health and finding someone who actively listens and empathizes with your journey is a personal concern through my familial struggles with mental health and related topics; Schizophrenia and Bipolar symptoms, LGBTQIA+, neuro-divergent, and acculturation issues have affected me in some way. I would be honored to hear your story.
