About My Clients
Most of the people I work with are functioning—but internally, something isn’t settling. They feel stuck in overthinking, second-guessing, or a constant sense of pressure that doesn’t fully shut off. They’re managing responsibilities, but it’s exhausting. They’re not looking for vague support—they want to understand what’s happening and actually change it.
My Background and Approach
My approach is structured and direct, focused on helping you understand what’s driving the patterns underneath your thoughts and reactions. Rather than just managing symptoms, we focus on understanding how your nervous system responds, identifying patterns that keep repeating, and learning how to shift them in practical ways. Many of the people I work with are used to holding everything together but feel mentally overwhelmed or unable to shut things off. This is especially common in high-pressure roles, including first responders and military personnel. I provide therapy for adults in Waterville, Maine and through secure online sessions across the state.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when people feel understood, challenged appropriately, and supported without judgment. My approach is direct, grounded, and collaborative—helping people understand patterns underneath stress, anxiety, overthinking, and emotional overwhelm while creating practical ways to move forward. Progress rarely happens all at once, but meaningful change becomes possible when people better understand themselves and feel safe enough to do something different.
