About My Clients
People come to me when they feel overwhelmed by their emotions, stuck in spirals of anxiety, depression, or trauma responses. I provide individual, couples, and group therapy to help people explore their identities and relationship issues so that they can overcome the walls they have unintentionally created that may be shutting others out. I tend to work best with those who are curious about themselves and eager to grow.
My Background and Approach
For nearly 10 years, I have helped people in a collaborative space that is honest and compassionate. I have worked in a drug treatment center, a community mental health agency, a private practice specializing in serving minority women with trauma histories, a VA Hospital, and a geriatric mental health program. Through these experiences, I have provided individual, couples, and group therapy for anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance abuse, and chronic pain. I have provided treatment to socioeconomically and culturally diverse individuals and couples with varying sexualities and gender identities. Our treatment will include elements of psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, and dialectical and CBT techniques to customize therapy to whom you are and what you want to get out of our time together.
