About My Clients
I offer a warm/collaborative/culturally responsive approach to therapy that centers around safety, trust, and authenticity. I work with individuals/families navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and identity exploration. My practice is grounded in an appreciation for attachment and systems, recognizing that we are not the problem—we are often a reflection of our relationships, communities, and the larger systems we live within.
My Background and Approach
In our first session, my goal is simply to get to know you—not just as a client, but as a whole person. I want to understand what’s important to you, what brings you in, and how we can work together in a way that feels comfortable and real. I take a down-to-earth, relational approach and often use humor to create a space that feels human, not clinical. I’m not here to be “the expert” on your life—I’m here as a person, walking alongside you as we figure things out together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a psychologist, I ground my work in culturally sensitive and LGBTQ+ affirming care, creating a safe and inclusive space for all identities and experiences. My approach is holistic and authentic, honoring the whole person—mind, body, and lived experience—while fostering meaningful, collaborative growth.
