About My Clients
I'm here to help women, couples, and teens work through difficult or sad emotions related to grief and depression, life transitions, and relationship issues.
My Background and Approach
I'm a native Virginianan and attended college at Virginia Commonwealth University where I obtained both my Bachelor and Master of Social Work. I am currently under clinical supervision by Mrs. Deborah Elders, LCSW and have direct employment supervision from Rachel Ann Dine, LPC, LMHC as I work towards obtaining my license to practice at the independent level. I have professional experience at various agencies where I was able to hone in on my skills. I lead therapy groups on stress relief and relaxation (Hanover Community Services Board RAFT House) I assisted and supported patients with end-of life-issues, completing advanced directives, and using Respecting Choices interview tools (Honoring Choices Virginia) I provided individual counseling support on grief and loss (Bon Secours Bereavement Center of Excellence) I've administered Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation to patients dealing with severe depression (Greenbrook TMS Neurohealth Centers)
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
With every client, my goal is to help you achieve more peace in your life and feel supported. I seek to provide you with an open, non-judgmental, and compassionate counseling experience. Healing is not linear and I am here to walk alongside you in your counseling journey.
