About My Clients
A good relationship between the client and therapist is essential to accomplishing your goal. I am here not to teach you but to listen and help you discover your potential and build your resiliency.
My Background and Approach
I use a systemic and integrative approach to therapy. I work from a social justice stance, and I respect every client in their complexity and diversity. I work from a social justice stance, and I respect every client in their complexity and diversity. What satisfies me the most about my work the is the alliance I have with my clients. I have a background in fine arts, film, and literature. My family moved across the world a few times, and such a dynamic expanded my awareness of cultural differences and the multiplicity of factors influencing individual’s lived experience. I find such a perspective as helping me see every client in their unique context, address their diverse needs, and respond to their full range of emotions, no matter where they are from and what are their beliefs or sexuality. I studied psychology at UC Berkeley and received my MA in Couple and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle. I offer therapy in English and Polish. .
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I always believed life and relationships could be more fulfilling, and lives can be saved if people experiencing crises ask for professional help and talk to someone supportive and non-judgmental. Such an attitude inspired me to volunteer at Seattle Crisis Clinic and become a therapist and working with clients validated these beliefs.
