My Background and Approach
As a husband and father of a gaggle of kids, my family is my joy. I hope to help you find comfort and meaning in your life. I strive to meet this goal as a psychotherapist, consultant, and public speaker. My clinical perspective has been informed by over a decade of work in various clinical settings: • A children's psychological assessment center, • A hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, • An Acute Care Unit (ACU), • Inner-city Outpatient (OP) centers, • An inpatient psych-hospital, in Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Inpatient (IP), • A pastoral counseling center, • A Residential inpatient drug rehab, • Directed a university counseling center, • A private practice owner.
