About My Clients
My clients are high-achieving individuals and couples who often feel anxious, burned out, or like they're performing rather than living. They’ve typically tried therapy before but now seek deeper self-understanding. I support individuals and couples navigating trauma, perfectionism, life transitions, relationship issues, and identity concerns with curiosity and care.
My Background and Approach
My style is warm, grounded, and insight-oriented, rooted in psychodynamic therapy. I also draw from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and existential thought. Together, we’ll explore patterns, beliefs, and coping strategies that may have helped you survive but now keep you stuck. My goal is to help you feel more clear, connected, and fully yourself. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and a BA in Sociology from the University of Texas - Permian Basin. Between my education and training, as well as my past career in the arts and non-profit sector, I value considering the totality of a person and their environment when developing a treatment plan and conducting psychotherapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is about more than symptom relief - it's about transformation, self-awareness, and lasting change. I know how hard it can be to ask for help; it's something I've struggled with too. I deeply respect the courage it takes to slow down and look inward, especially when everything looks "fine" from the outside. We all carry stories from our past, but we don't have to stay stuck in them. My goal is to offer a space where you can show up as your full, imperfect, evolving self.
