My Background and Approach
I am a therapist that believes that developing a non-judgmental and client-centered approach to therapy is key to feeling better each day. In therapy, a thoughtful review of emotional, medical, and family history helps to build an understanding and context around the client's challenges and informs treatment. Making progress in therapy involves building an awareness of how past relationships and experiences inform and affect our actions and emotions today.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have been working in mental health care for the past 6 years and specialize in addressing trauma; understanding how traumatic symptoms arise as well as how to build coping skills and recover. I work to individualize therapy to create a personal style for each client. I offer individual therapy sessions via telehealth with a flexible schedule.
