About My Clients
My ideal clients are adults and couples—men and women—who are motivated for meaningful change and willing to engage honestly in the therapeutic process. They may be navigating the effects of trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, or relationship conflict, and are often high-functioning individuals who feel stuck despite their strengths. I work especially well with clients who value a direct, structured, and collaborative approach, are open to practical tools and insight-oriented work, and want therapy
My Background and Approach
I bring a unique blend of clinical training and real-world experience to my work as a therapist. Before entering the mental health field, I spent over two decades in high-stress leadership roles within law enforcement and the military, experiences that shaped my understanding of trauma, responsibility, and human resilience. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and specialize in working with adults and couples impacted by trauma, chronic stress, and relationship challenges. My therapeutic approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and relational. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic approaches, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Brainspotting, Relational Life Therapy, and the Gottman Method. I work collaboratively with clients in a direct yet supportive manner, focusing on emotional regulation, insight, accountability, and practical tools that support lasting change. My goal is to help clients build stability, health
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value honesty, accountability, compassion, and respect in both therapy and life. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel understood while also being appropriately challenged to grow. My work is grounded in the belief that trauma and chronic stress affect the nervous system, relationships, and identity—and that healing requires both insight and practical action. I am committed to providing an inclusive, affirming space for people of all backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures. I support equity, dignity, and access to mental health care, and I work with clients across a wide range of cultural, spiritual, and personal belief systems. I have a particular respect for those who serve others—first responders, veterans, caregivers, and professionals in high-responsibility roles—but I welcome anyone seeking thoughtful, engaged, and effective therapy. Above all, I value doing work that is real, ethical, and impactful. I aim to show up as a grounded, present clinicia
